Russia detains 3 ships in Ukraine

Russia has stuck three warships (two gunboats and a tugboat) in Ukraine on the coast of Crimea. During the detention, firing took place. Some Ukrainian wounded in the ship. Tensions between the two countries reached the peak. The two countries blame each other for the situation.

On Sunday morning, the tensions were triggered after three Ukrainian Ukrainian ships entered Crimea on Monday morning at Moscow local time. Russia claims that Ukraine has violated the 19th and 22nd of the United Nations Convention on Sea Seasonal Convention.

The Ukrainian Navy claims that the Russian border guards have attacked their ships at the Crimea border, which is a public aggressive activity.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that in response to this, he will call on Monday to declare martial law on Monday.

According to the BBC Online report, yesterday, the Baridiyansk and Nikopol warships and the Yana Kapa ship of Ukraine left the ODC port of the Black Sea to the Maripole port of the Azov Sea.

Ukraine says that Russia tries to halt the ship, although after that the vessels start moving to Kerch Street, but there is interference with the Russian tanker.

Russia called two warships and two helicopters in the area. They alleged that the vessels entered their waters illegally and the movement on that route would be temporarily suspended due to security reasons.

Ukrainian navy members said that when the ship was hit by a strike, they tried to leave the area and failed. It is also said that six sailors were injured.

Russian officials later confirmed that their patrol ships forced the three ships of Ukraine to forcibly seize them. However, they claimed that only three sailors were injured.

Kerch Street Bridge connects Crimea with Russian mainland in Azov Sea Kerch system. Under the bridge, the country can enter two ocean frets. Since last month Russia has blocked the entrance tanker. In a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko said that Russia's actions are 'undesirable and insane'. On the other hand, Russia requested for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council.

In fact, for a few months the tensions were rising between Russia and Ukraine. According to the agreement in 2003, Moscow and Kiev will share the Kerk Strait and the Azov Sea's regional water. But in the beginning of this year, Ukraine arrested two Russian ships from Crimea, and the tension between the two countries has been very serious. Moscow described the incident as 'sea-terrorism' and the Russian military patrol was extended to the Azov Sea. Russia has said that this step is illegal, Ukraine But Russia's President Vladimir Putin said, 'We did not start before.'
