Authorities have blocked a Twitter account of millions of followers following the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin. More than 10 million followers (follow) at @ putinRF_eng. The Kremlin ensures that the account does not run Putin or any member of his team. After that, Twitter decided to close it.

According to the BBC's news, Putin's accounts were posted regularly and the posts and photos of Russian President were regularly posted on the fake account. These were claimed in the description of the post, as it was official. World leaders like Italy's former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Kosovo President Hashim Thachi and former Argentina President Christina Fernandez de Kirstner also tweeted this fake account opened in Putin's name.

Twitter account did not have 'veiled' blue tick on Twitter. In the name of Russian president, this account was opened in 2012, and in particular the public was posted to various official affiliate links. According to Twitter, fake accounts opened in Putin's name have been closed based on legitimate information received from Russian government officials.

Kremlin has an official Twitter account. But it was not known who had opened this account of Putin. This is not the first time a fake account on twitter. This has happened before. Buffett's name was not correct on this Twitter account.
